Getting started

Who we are, who can invest, and how it works at a glance.

What is Bitblock Markets?
Bitblock Markets is an institutional asset management firm running research-driven strategies across foreign exchange and digital assets. We manage capital on behalf of investors with a risk-first philosophy — every position is backed by a written thesis and governed by strict per-trade risk limits and drawdown controls. We diversify across asset classes to balance opportunity with downside protection, and report transparently to investors every month.
Who can invest with Bitblock Markets?
Any individual over 18 who can complete our identity verification (KYC) process. We currently accept investors from most jurisdictions, subject to local laws. If you're unsure whether we can serve your country, reach out to investors@bitblockmarkets.com before signing up.
What is the minimum investment?
The minimum investment is currently $200 during our early-access period. This threshold will rise as we move to full public launch — investors who are onboarded early lock in the lower minimum for their initial deposit.
How long does the whole signup-to-invested process take?
On the happy path: about 20 minutes of your time, spread across three sessions. Signup and email verification takes 5 minutes. Profile and KYC (ID + selfie) takes 5 minutes (Unless if a human-review is needed). Reading and signing the contract takes about 10 minutes. Once your full deposit is confirmed on-chain, the contract activates automatically and you're invested.
Is Bitblock Markets a bank?
No. Bitblock Markets is an asset management firm — we invest capital on your behalf according to a defined strategy. Your funds are not held as deposits and do not earn a fixed interest rate. Returns depend on how our trading strategies perform in the markets, and are subject to investment risk including possible loss of principal.

Identity verification (KYC)

What documents we need, how long checks take, and what happens if something fails.

What documents do I need for identity verification?
A government-issued photo ID (national ID card, passport, or driver's license) and a live selfie taken with your device's camera. That's it. You upload the ID from your gallery or camera, then take a selfie directly through the app. The whole process takes under 3 minutes.
How long does KYC verification take?
Most submissions are auto-verified within a few minutes by our automated 7-check pipeline. If any check needs a human review, our compliance team resolves it within 2 business hours during working days. You'll get an email either way — approved, or with clear next steps if we need something else.
Why was my KYC sent to manual review?
A few common reasons: the photo of your ID was blurry, glare made key fields unreadable, your selfie didn't clearly match the ID photo, or the ID document format didn't match our records for your country. Manual review isn't a rejection — a compliance officer reviews the same materials personally and usually resolves it within 2 hours.
Can I edit my profile after KYC is approved?
For your protection, your identity fields (name, date of birth, ID number) become read-only once KYC is approved — these must match your verified documents. Contact fields like phone and email can still be updated. If you need to change a verified field (e.g. after a name change), email compliance@bitblockmarkets.com with supporting documentation.
What happens if my KYC is rejected?
You'll receive an email explaining exactly what failed and what to do next. Most rejections are recoverable — a clearer photo or a valid ID document usually resolves the issue. If your account cannot be verified after review, we'll refund any funds you've deposited in full.

Investment contract

Signing the agreement, next-of-kin details, and countersignatures.

Do I need to print and sign a contract?
No. The entire contract is signed inside the platform. Read the agreement in-app, then sign by drawing your signature on-screen, typing your name in a cursive font, or uploading an image of your signature. No printing, no scanning, no email attachments.
What is a Next of Kin and why do I need to name one?
Your Next of Kin (NoK) is the person who inherits your investment if something happens to you during the contract term. Naming a NoK is a standard institutional-grade practice that gives your family clear standing to claim your funds without a lengthy probate process. Your NoK receives a secure link on their own device to countersign the contract — they don't need a Bitblock account.
How long is the contract term?
The standard investment agreement runs for 12 months from the date your first deposit is confirmed. At the end of the term, you can renew on the terms then offered, or exit with your principal returned in full alongside the final month's payout.
Can I download a copy of my signed contract?
Yes. Once your contract is countersigned by Bitblock Markets (which happens automatically the moment your deposit is confirmed), you can download the fully-executed PDF from your dashboard at any time.
What does "countersigning" mean?
A contract is countersigned when both parties have signed — you as the investor, and an authorized Bitblock Markets representative on behalf of the firm. We countersign automatically the moment your deposit is confirmed on-chain, so your fully-executed agreement is ready within minutes of funding.

Deposits

Funding your account by crypto, bank, or M-Pesa, and confirmation timing.

How do I fund my account?
Cryptocurrency is live today. You can deposit in stablecoins (USDT / USDC) or major crypto assets through our on-chain deposit flow. M-Pesa and bank wire are on our roadmap and will be available shortly — investors on our mailing list will be notified when each launches.
How long does a crypto deposit take to confirm?
Typically 5–20 minutes, depending on network congestion and the number of block confirmations required for the token you sent. Once your deposit is confirmed on-chain, your contract activates automatically and you'll receive an email confirming your position.
What if I send the wrong amount or the wrong token?
Deposits are matched to your account by the wallet address and network. Sending the wrong token to a matching address, or an amount that doesn't meet the minimum, requires manual reconciliation — contact investors@bitblockmarkets.com right away with the transaction hash and we'll walk you through recovery. Never send from an exchange that doesn't support the exact network shown in your deposit instructions.
Are there any deposit fees?
Bitblock Markets does not charge a fee to deposit. You pay only the standard network transaction (gas) fee that the blockchain requires. Your exchange or wallet provider may charge their own withdrawal fee to send funds to us — that's outside our control. However our third-party payment processor may charge processing fees for handling the transaction, which is usually a small percentage of the amount sent.

Investments & strategies

How capital is allocated, the term length, and what you can change once active.

What asset classes does Bitblock Markets trade?
We run five distinct strategies covering foreign exchange majors, cryptocurrency, global equity indices, commodities, and stock baskets. Each strategy has a defined risk mandate. When you activate your investment, you choose the percentage allocation across these five strategies based on your risk appetite and goals — from concentrated to fully diversified.
Can I change my strategy allocation after investing?
Your allocation locks when your contract activates so we can execute your positions consistently for the full term. If you need to rebalance mid-term (for example, in response to a major life change), contact your account manager and we'll assess feasibility — mid-term reallocations are handled case-by-case, not as a standard feature.
How is my capital protected?
We manage risk in three ways: position sizing limits capped per trade, hard stop-loss discipline that closes losing positions before drawdowns compound, and diversification across uncorrelated strategies so a bad month in one asset class doesn't sink the portfolio. That said, all investing carries risk including loss of principal, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
Can I add more funds to an active contract?
Yes. You can top up your investment at any time during the 12-month term via the deposits page. Top-ups follow the same activation flow — once confirmed, they're allocated according to your existing strategy mix.

Payouts & earnings

Monthly returns, payout methods, and when funds land in your account.

When and how often do I receive payouts?
Twelve monthly payouts across the contract term, one per month starting from your activation date. Payouts are calculated based on strategy performance and paid to your chosen payout method on the day following the monthly anniversary of your contract activation date.
What returns can I expect?
Target returns are discussed with each investor during onboarding based on the strategy allocation you choose. We target to pay our investors 15% a month. However, actual returns vary month to month depending on market conditions — some months will exceed target, others will fall short. We publish weekly performance updates and monthly reports transparently so you always know exactly how your money is being managed. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
What payout methods are supported?
Cryptocurrency (USDT / USDC or major assets), M-Pesa mobile money, and bank wire transfer. You set your preferred payout method on the earnings page after your contract activates, and can change it between payouts subject to identity verification.
What happens if my payout details are wrong?
Payouts are held pending correction rather than lost. If a payout can't be delivered (invalid wallet address, closed bank account), we email you immediately and hold the funds until you update the details on your dashboard. You're also required to confirm your password or MFA whenever you change payout details, and receive an email notification of the change for security.
What happens at the end of the 12-month term?
You have two options. Renew on the terms then offered — many investors choose this to compound their returns. Or exit, in which case your principal is returned in full alongside the final month's payout. Either way, we'll reach out 30 days before term end to walk you through the decision.

Referrals

The 5% direct bonus, the 10% monthly profit-share, and how to withdraw.

How does the referral program work?
Every investor gets a unique 6-character referral code visible on their dashboard. When someone signs up using your code and activates their contract, you earn a 5% instant bonus on the amount they deposit — credited immediately to your referral balance. You also earn 10% of their monthly investment profit for the duration of their contract.
How do I share my referral code?
From your dashboard's Referrals page, copy your code or your unique referral link. Share it via WhatsApp, email, or any channel that works for you. When someone signs up through your link, the code is automatically applied — they don't need to enter it manually.
How do I withdraw my referral earnings?
From the Referrals page, request a withdrawal to your preferred payout method (crypto, M-Pesa, or bank). Withdrawal requests are processed manually by our team within 1–2 business days. You'll receive an email when the payout is sent.
Is there a limit on referral bonuses?
There is no cap on the number of investors you can refer or the total bonuses you can earn. The 10% profit-share continues for as long as each referred investor's contract is active. Investors who bring in a substantial cohort typically qualify for additional partnership terms — reach out to us to discuss.

Security & privacy

Two-factor authentication, password policy, and how we handle your data.

Is my account secure?
Yes. We enforce strong password requirements, offer two-factor authentication (2FA) via authenticator app, require password re-confirmation before sensitive actions like changing payout details, and rate-limit login and signup attempts to prevent brute-force attacks. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest.
How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Go to Settings → Security in your dashboard and follow the enrollment flow. Scan the QR code with any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password), save the backup codes we provide somewhere safe, and you're done. Once enabled, you'll be asked for a 6-digit code every time you sign in.
What happens if I lose access to my authenticator app?
Use one of the backup codes you saved when enrolling in 2FA — go to the 2FA recovery page on the sign-in screen. Each backup code works once. If you've also lost your backup codes, contact security@bitblockmarkets.com; we'll verify your identity through a manual process before restoring access.
What data do you collect about me?
We collect what's necessary to verify your identity (KYC documents, personal information), operate your account (email, phone, payout details), and comply with anti-money-laundering regulations (transaction records). We do not sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
